Shining Over us with a Beautiful LightAdoracion Sonza Yabut was born on January 15, 1953 to Alejandro and Luisa Sonza. She was born in the town of Bebe Anac in Masantol Pampanga Philippines. She was the sixth sibling to a large loving family of eleven.She attended Bebe Anac Elementary School and went to Pampanga Institute High School. Soon after high school in 1972 she joined her family in the United States. Here, she began to work at a local garment factory where she created an extended family of friends. In 1976, her fiancé Nelson Yabut finally joined her. They were married on November 27, 1976 at Corpus Christi Church. Having children was difficult for her, so having two sons were her most treasured accomplishments. On February 8, 1982, they were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Brian Sonza Yabut and once again on February 24, 1984, Jason Sonza Yabut. Her family and children were the pride and joy of her life. Soon after, she began her career at the Holiday Inn, Chinatown, now the Hilton Hotel. Here, her family of friends became more plentiful and she created special moments that lasts a lifetime.In December of 2008, she complained about weak muscles and breathing problems. After several tests she was diagnosed with a serious muscle and autoimmune disease, Dermatomyositis. The Lord called her on April 25, 2009. Adoracion was a precious wife, mother, sister and aunt. She was a kind person to all. Her life was filled with many blessings and miracles. Her hands have touched many lives and her words have comforted many people. She will always be remembered as her spirit will always shine over us with a beautiful light. Visitations: 3:00PM to 9:00PM on Sunday, April 26th, 2009 at Valente Marini Perata & Co.
