Emanuel Paul Mifsud May 25, 1930 - October 10, 2014 Born in Malta, Emanuel stayed in bomb shelters during the German and Italian Bombings from 1939-1945 As a young man Emanuel was introduced to the waterfront where he became a longshoreman, and help support his mother, father , and 13 brothers and sisters. In 1950 he met his lovely wife, Mary in Malta and married. That marriage was blessed with four children, Charlie, John, Ron and Barbara. In 1953 Emanuel and Mary immigrated to America and started a new life in San Francisco, Ca. Emanuel continued with his long term career as a longshoreman for over 40 years. They lived in San Francisco from 1952 - 1995 then moved to Fairfield , CA Emanuel was a loving and caring man, his family always came first. His hobbies included raising Canaries, gardening and making Olives. He loved jigsaw puzzles, game shows, watching Sunday football, playing the California Lottery and family holidays. he is preceded in death by his son Charlie. He is survived by his wife Mary, sons John and Ron, daughter Barbara, grandchildren Suzanne, John, Sawyer and Brittany, and great-grandchildren Kennedy and Hudson.
