Renato Joseph Bini June 23, 1924 ? April 1, 2011 86 years young Beloved husband of Lidia Bini for over 57 years; wonderful father to Alex (Nancy) Bini and Linda (Jim) Ryan; adored Nonno to Joe and Amanda Bini and Fitz Ryan, Preceded in death by his parents, Settimo and Angelina Bini. Renato was born in San Francisco and resided there his entire life. To him there was no place else worth being. When visiting his children and their families, he invariably would ask? When are you coming back to civilization?? He enlisted in the Navy during World War II much to his mother?s objection, but after the war, she credited her son for the victory. He wore the title of ?Laborer? proudly and was a loyal employee of Kinnear Manufacturing Company until his retirement in 1989. Renato, aka ?Ray? or ?Mr. Nickels? enjoyed his family, friends, a good cup of coffee, playing the accordion, music, telling corny jokes, helping out at his church and gambling in Reno using his winning nickel strategy. Friends may visit on Wednesday after 4:00PM and are invited to attend the Vigil Service also on Wednesday at 7:00PM and the Funeral Service on Thursday at 10:00AM from the chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co., 4840 Mission St., SF thence to Church of the Visitacion where a 10:30AM Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
