Louise Virginia Ribotta Born in San Francisco on April 18, 1926 Passed on July 27, 2015 in Vacaville Louise (Lou) Ribotta passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2015, at the age of 99 in Vacaville, CA, with her daughter Jackie and dear friends Sharon and Ana at her bedside. Lou had been in the care of her daughter for the past nine months. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Albert (Baron) Ribotta. Beloved mother of Jackie. Loving daughter to the late Giovanni and Esterina Brusa. Loving sister to the late Guido Brusa and sister-in-law to the late Anita Brusa. Loving daughter-in-law to the late Giuseppe and Catherina Ribotta. Loving sister-in-law to the late Joseph and Gina Ribotta. Beloved granddaughter to the late Romeo and Angela Borella. Devoted niece to the late Italo and Rose Borella. Cousin to Gene Borella (Marian) and the late Norma Piazza (Steve) . Wonderful aunt to Debbie Radiotes (Richard), John Ribotta (Jane) and Bart Ribotta (Diane). Great aunt to Lisa, Phillip, Tanya and Reed. Treasured friend of Sharon and Ana. Also survived by cousins in Italy and many great, great nieces and nephews. Born in San Francisco on April 18, 1916, she was raised and lived in the Bayview District until 2009 when she and her daughter moved to Vacaville, CA. She loved and enjoyed her new home and the many thoughtful neighbors. Losing her mother at age 35 when Lou was only 12 years old she had to become the lady of the household before her time. She dropped out of Balboa High School to help her father run their neighborhood store on the corner of Oakdale and Quint. While living in the Bayview District and a block away from each other, she would meet and later marry the love of her life Albert (Baron ) on June 26, 1937. It wasn't until September of 1950 that their daughter Jackie was born . Louise enjoyed dancing and would go with her girlfriends to the famous EL Patio Dance Hall where they would dance with and entertain the troops. Louise worked 38 years for the San Francisco Unified School District in the cafeteria division. She worked up until she had to leave in 1994 to care for her ailing husband. Louise along with family and friends enjoyed taking many wonderful cruises to many parts of the world. Through good times and bad, Lou was a true and loyal SF Giants fan. She enjoyed the many times she was fortunate to attend the Giants Spring Training in Scottsdale, Arizona with family and friends. She watched her beloved Giants on TV until her strength and will ran out. Lou was a very devoted animal lover. Loved playing cards with her late husband and many friends. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth 50 Plus and over 50 clubs. From deep in her heart, Jackie, truly thanks Sharon and Ana for all the love and support they gave the Ribotta family throughout the years especially when her parents both became ill. Jackie would also like to thank the North Bay Hospice Team, and especially her case nurse John Ryland and nurse Kathleen Diaz. She would also like to extend her thanks and gratitude to her part time caregiver Pat Landsman. Family and friends may visit on Thursday July 30, 2015 after 4:00PM and are invited to attend the Vigil Service also on Thursday at 7:00PM and the Funeral Service on Friday July 31, 2015 at 10:00AM from the chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co. 4840 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA to St. Elizabeth Church on the corner of Somerset and Wayland Streets in San Francisco where a 10:30AM Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
