Pedro López- Bautista ¤1/31/1919 ? 7/12/2012 + Nacio un 31 de Enero de 1919 en San Ignacio Camasca, Departamento de Intibucá, Honduras. Amado Padre de Romelia y Manuel, abuelo de Osmín, Carolina y Pedro Luis, Vidal, Claudia, Francisco, Luis Alonso y Manuel Antonio. Gozo de conocer a 17 biznietos. Un hombre muy católico que dedicó gran parte de su vida al servicio de la Iglesia como mayordomo de la capilla de su valle. Ya que los sacerdotes eran escasos y no podían dar servicio a todos en el valle, él se dedico por muchos años a ?echar el agua bendita? a los niños hasta que un sacerdote los podía llegar a bautizar. Amaba tanto su iglesia que con mucho amor dono un terreno para la construcción de la iglesia del valle de ?San Ignacio? y cuya remodelación se inicio hace un par de años gracias a su constante intercesión, oración y por la generosidad de muchos. Llegó a San Francisco, California en 2002 y trabajó un tiempo de voluntario para la Iglesia de San Kevin ayudando en el mantenimiento del Jardín y proyectos varios. Desde su llegada San Kevin fue su parroquia donde asistía fielmente cada domingo a la misa de mediodía en Español y donde su correspondiente diezmo nunca falto. Los últimos meses debido a su delicada condición física ya no pudo asistir a la misa dominical pero amaba recibir la santa comunión de manos de ?Laurita? que fielmente lo visitaba. Rezaba el rosario todos los días y como dice la canción ?muchas veces se quedaba dormido? pero su corazón siempre estaba al lado de la Virgen María. Descanse en Paz Don Pedro! English? Don Pedro was born on January 31, 1919 in San Ignacio Camasca, Department of Intibucá, Honduras. Beloved Father of Romelia and Manuel; Grandfather of Osmin+, Carolina and Pedro Luis; Vidal, Claudia, Francisco, Luis Alonso and Manuel Antonio; He had the joy of knowing 17 great-grandchildren. A very Catholic man who devoted much of his life serving to the Church as a steward of the chapel in the valley of Saint Ignatius. Since priests were scarce and could not serve everyone in the valley, he dedicated himself for many years ?bringing the holy water" to newborns and children until they could get a priest to baptize them. He loved his church so much and put his stewardship in action donating land for the construction of the Valley Church of "St. Ignatius" the patron saint and whose renovation was started a couple of years ago thanks to his constant intercession, prayer and the generosity of many who believe in his cause. He arrived to San Francisco, California in 2002 and worked for some time as volunteer in the Church of St. Kevin helping in maintaining the garden and various projects. Since his arrival, he adopted St. Kevin as his parish where he faithfully attended the Spanish mass every Sunday at noon and even when parts of the mass he was sleeping at the offertory time he was always ready to present his offering to God. The last few months because of his poor physical condition he was unable to attend Sunday Mass but he loved to receive Holy Communion from the hands of "Laura" who faithfully visited him. He prayed the rosary every day and as the song says "often fell asleep" but his heart was always next to the Virgin Mary. Rest in Peace Don Pedro!
